The room was just a tiny box with no window and suffocating heat. I almost thought i'd get some level of special treatment, but no- no towels or even a clean toilet. I could've given a good review if only i'd been given a room upgrade after this disaster. Will definitely not return.

The pizza at La Cerveceria de Barrio Alameda was out of this world-thin crust perfection! Plus, the location is a dream for noshing on street tacos at the nearby Sin Nombre. Sr. Armando's hospitality added a personal touch.
The noise was no joke. I had to call reception to quiet a raucous family yelling until 1 am. My room was a letdown from the pictures, having no windows with stains on the bed and a dirty sink that was unusable.

Let me break it down for you
This hostel is very basic, but the location is prime. You're close to parks and metro stations. The helpful staff, especially Alex, is a gem. Just a heads-up, thin walls and shared bathrooms mean you'll need earplugs. Ideal for budget travel, since you mainly just crash here after exploring.

Thin walls made it noisy.

The stay was a letdown, primarily due to the poor conditions of the room. It had no ventilation, and the shared bathroom situation was below expectations. On the brighter side, the location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions like the Museo de Arte Popular and Alameda Central, both just a short walk away.
